Deleting markers from Oasys using a laptop

I have great problems in deleting start and stop work markers when I have put them in the wrong place when I am using my laptop, which has no number keypad. I cannot find the key which reproduces the delete key on the number keypad.

Yes this is a problem. On a normal keyboard the num pad "Del" key is used to delete event markers. Most / all laptops have a way of reproducing this key using a combination of CTRL, ALT and FN type keys but it can be hard to discover the correct combination. When I find out combinations I will add answers here. This problem should be corrected in any future versions of the Oasys-2 Beta and in Vitalograph 2110 Oasys when it is released.

The Sony Vaio PCG-C1XN has a num pad mode for its keyboard. To enable it hold down shift and press the key with "Num Lk" and "Scr Lk" on. The keys "7, 8, 9, 0, U, I, O, P, J, K, L, ;, M, ., /" then reproduce the num pad keys and pressing "." will delete an event marker.

For Sony Notebook computer PCG-321A
Turn on the internal keypad (Shift plus Num Lk)
Then the full stop deletes (similar to the decimal point key on the bottom right of the number pad of a proper keyboard.
The system works much better with a conventional keyboard with separate number pad.

The new version of Oasys uses the enter key to put in the markers and so does not have this problem. You can download it using the link below.
