Occupational asthma from Laminate Dust

I work for a manufacturer of laminate. The particular department I work in also cuts and stores a substantial amount of laminate. The cleanup consists of using high pressure air to blow the dust into piles to be discarded. What concerns should I have? I have a problem with nose bleeds and headaches.

High pressure air is not a good way of reducing dust that you breathe in. Vacuumung is much better.

Laminates can be made out of many different materials with different problems, and stuck together with different adhesives. Many contain wood, the dusts from which can be irritating to the eyes, nose and throat, and sometimes cause allergies with asthma or rhinitis.
Woods are often stuck together with a formaldehyde based resin, which is irritating and an occasional allergen
Laminates used in car interiors are often stuck together with isocyanates, a common cause of occupational asthma
